The Green Bay Packers are developing 13 acres west of Lambeau Field into a multipurpose commercial and community recreational facility. Van Ert Electric has been awarded the contract to perform underground and site utilities including parking lot and outdoor lighting, a sledding hill/pavilion, maintenance facility, ice rink, youth program football field, public activities area, background music system, WIFI system, surveillance camera system, card access system and fire alarm.
Marquette Replacement Hospital, Marquette, MI
Underground utilities and electrical prefabrication are well under way for this new 265 bed hospital. Along with the hospital is a 168,000 square foot medical office building and adjoining parking ramp. Van Ert Electric was awarded this contract in September of 2016 and have been working with the Construction Manager Skanska USA Building, Inc. and their engineers developing the BIM model and working through clash detection. Recently Van Ert was also awarded a contract for the low voltage systems. The project is scheduled for completion in November of 2019.
Marshalltown Generating Station, Marshalltown, IA
The 680 megawatt Marshalltown Generating Station for Alliant Energy’s subsidiary company Interstate Power and Light has completed start up and commissioning activities and has successfully performed its ITC run test. Punch list items are completing in preparation for the ribbon cutting ceremony scheduled in May.
